A gutter cleaner named after a bad football nickname
Gutter Butter started with years of hands-on gutter cleaning trainings, testing formula after formula to remove tiger striping and oxidation. Most cleaners on the market gave a mixed bag of results — some stripped paint, some barely worked, especially on older gutters. One formula, refined with the manufacturer over years, finally worked consistently without hurting the gutter's factory coating.
"Back in the day, playing football, I couldn't catch the ball to save my life — they called me Butterfingers. So when this cleaner took oxidation off like butter, calling it Gutter Butter just made sense."
What started in five-gallon buckets grew into a family mission: build a legacy business our kids could be part of. We're a homeschool family of four kids — Logan, Abigail, Noah, and Greta — which is where the name LANGco comes from. Our kids labeled the very first jugs by hand, and they've grown up packaging orders, inspecting bottling facilities, and learning firsthand how a small business runs — and how money works, through give, save, and keep.
